Get ready to pound the pavement on Martha's Vineyard! The Martha's Vineyard Marathon, Half Marathon & 2-Person Half Marathon Relay will be held on Saturday, May 18.

Martha's Vineyard Half Marathon

Participants running the 13.1-mile race will start at Martha's Vineyard Regional High School, with the first two miles being with the marathon. The course runs through DCR Manuel Correllus State Forest, and also along Beach Road over the bridge featured in "Jaws." The course finishes in Waban Park in Oak Bluffs, and has a course time limit of six hours.

Martha's Vineyard Marathon

Runners participating in the 26.2-mile race will start at Martha's Vineyard Regional High School, and run the first 13 miles of the course through DCR Manuel Correllus State Forest. It goes through Edgartown, over the "Jaws" bridge on Beach Road, and finishes in Waban Park in Oak Bluffs. The marathon course time limit is six hours.

Martha's Vineyard 2-Person Half Marathon Relay

Teams of two runners taking part in the half marathon relay will start at Martha's Vineyard Regional High School, with Runner #1 running the first 5.3 miles of the course. Runner #2 will run the remaining 7.8 miles to the finish line at Waban Park after receiving a handoff from Runner #1 at Water Station F. Runners will be transported by vans from the transition area to the finish.
