Cape Cod Marathon Weekend

     

October 26-27, 2019

Get ready to pound the pavement in Cape Cod! The Cape Cod Marathon Weekend will be held on October 26-27. The half marathon will take place on Saturday, October 26 at 7:30 a.m., while the full and relay marathons will be held on Sunday, October 27 at 8:30 a.m. New for 2019, a flatter, faster, and more scenic marathon course that hugs the Cape Cod shoreline will debut.
 

Cape Cod Half Marathon

Participants running the 13.1-mile race will enjoy a scenic route that travels along the Falmouth coastline of Nantucket Sound, and features views of Martha’s Vineyard and the beautiful waters of Nantucket sound. The course is fast, and includes one brief hill at miles 3.5 and 9.75. It will start at Falmouth Town Hall Square, with the finish line being located on Chauncery Lane. Six stops featuring water and a sports drink will be located along the course, plus pre-and post-hydration at the start and finish lines. Portable restrooms will be available at the start and finish areas, as well at several locations on the course.

There will be a course limit of three hours. After 10:30 a.m., the course will be closed, and runners who finish after that time may not receive an official finishing time.

Cape Cod Marathon & Relay Marathon

Runners participating in the 26.2-mile race will start and end at the Falmouth Village Green. View details about the new marathon course map including a route video.

There will be a course limit of six hours. After 2:30 p.m., the course will be closed, and runners who finish after that time may not receive an official finishing time.

Clam Chowdah Challenge

Want to take on the challenge of running both the half and full marathons? Then take part in the Clam Chowdah Challenge. Participants who run 39.3 miles over two days will receive a Chowdah mug and medal, among other things.
